Boeing 787 First Officer European bases
Norwegian is the sixth largest low-cost carrier in the world with around 9,000 dedicated colleagues. Our customers can choose from over 500 routes to more than 150 destinations in Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, Thailand, the Caribbean and the US.
We were founded in 1993, but only began operating as a low-cost carrier with bigger Boeing 737 aircraft in 2002. Today, we are one of the world’s fastest growing airlines. We are constantly introducing brand new aircraft to our fleet, as well as launching new routes and establishing new bases in Europe, Asia and the US. Today, we have around 155 aircraft and boast one of the world's youngest and greenest fleets with an average age of just 3.6 years. New aircraft is a win-win for the customers, the environment and the company's costs and is key in order to maintain our vision of offering affordable fares for all.
We have more than 190 aircraft on order left of the biggest aircraft order in Europe of 250 aircraft, which means in the coming years, we will take delivery of brand new Boeing 737-8s, Boeing 787 Dreamliners, Airbus A320neos and Airbus 321 Long Range aircraft.
Norwegian is now looking for First Officers to operate on the Norwegian Boeing 787 aircrafts. On behalf of Norwegian successful applicants will be employed by an agency. Boeing 787 flight crew are based at London Gatwick Airport, UK Airports, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Paris and Rome.
• EASA License
• EASA Medical Class 1
• 1,500 hours total time
• 1,000 hours on any EFIS jet aircraft
• EASA ATPL or CPL License
(frozen ATPL & MCC)
• EASA Medical Class 1
• Minimum 1,500 hours total time
• ELP level 4 or higher
• No criminal record and able to pass 5 year security check.
• Have the legal right to live and work in the EU/EEC region.
• Unrestricted Passport and the ability to obtain US Crew Visa.
Duty period starts and finishes at the base you are assigned
Minimum of ten days off per calendar month
28 days of annual leave per calendar year
The recruitment process
The first step is to fill out and submit your application. You will then receive an email confirming the receipt of your application. In addition, you will be sent an invitation to do four online tests. If you are invited to perform our online assessments, you will need to complete them before you are considered further.
Under the section "Attachments” we would like you to upload copies of your updated resume/CV, your flight crew license, and a picture of you, as well as any other document you believe would be of benefit in the assessment of your application.
Applicants fulfilling the requirements will be contacted via email. The screening process could further include interviews, simulator assessments and background checks including contacting referees.
With the large amount of applications we receive, it may take long time until you proceed to the next step. Please note that it is an ongoing recruitment process. Interviews and simulator assessments will be ongoing throughout the year.

Norwegian requires that the pilot maintains a flight crew license issued from certain defined states at the time of employment. If applicable, a transfer shall be completed before the starting date.
