Boeing B757 Captain

Ethiopian Airlines requires for immediate and upcoming employment B757 Captains for a three year renewable contract. Ethiopian accepts candidates up to age 60 making this is an excellent opportunity for B757 captains aged above 55 who want to fly up to age 65.

Renumeration and benefit package

The remuneration packages below include salary, all bonuses, allowances and other financial benefits. Before tax (gross) figures are shown for illustrative and comparative purposes only.

Financial package

Additional benefits

  • 20 days on / 10 days off rotations
  • 14 days annual leave
  • Ground transportation is provided from residence to place a work

B757 Captain Technical Requirements

  • ICAO ATPL with a valid and current captain type rating on an B757 
  • 3,500+ hours of jet time (PIC and FO)
  • 2,500+ hours PIC on jet
  • 500+ hours PIC on the B757 at the start of employment
  • Flown as captain an aircraft of the B757 aircraft family within the last 12 months
  • International routes experience
  • Age 60 or below and hold a valid Class 1 medical at the start of employment
  • ICAO Level 5 or higher English qualification
  • Provide a license verification letter from local CAA
  • Provide a no record of responsibility certificate for any aviation incident/accident report
  • Provide a no record of criminal activities certificate

The above technical requirements represent minimal requirements, preference is given to the most qualified and experienced candidates at the time of selection.
