Are you a B2 Licensed Engineer typed and current on the A320?

JMC have an exciting opportunity for a B2 Licensed Engineer to join our client on a permanent basis in Luton.

About the role

You will be joining the UK's leading airline based at Luton Airport carrying out all scheduled / unscheduled tasks in a line maintenance environment.

This position is working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern 2 days / 2 nights.

Responsibilities;

  • To exercise your license / approval in relation to the accomplishment of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance

  • Ensure maintenance is accomplished to the highest required standards

  • Record and issue certificates of release to service for the work accomplished and review the work and resources allocated and required to ensure expedient rectification of defects

  • Accountable for advising the Station Manager of any impending service disruptions, or areas of concern that may have an impact on the operating programme

  • Define priorities to the team, ensuring that efficient use of resources is channeled to an 'on time' and safe flight departure

  • Ensure that all documentation and its certification are completed in a timely manner and to the defined procedures in order to meet Company and Customer Procedures and legislation

  • Compile and report of Technical Delay/Out of Service Reports. Recording significant defects, discrepancies, incidents and events

  • To assist in the departure of any Aircraft that may be preparing for departure at handover times

Requirements

  • Hold EASA Part 66 B2 license and authorisation or equivalent on company aircraft

  • 6 months recency on the A320

  • Have operational experience in a line maintenance environment

  • Competent in the use of aircraft maintenance documentation

  • Proven ability to communicate issues to management

  • Able to work effectively in a team, as well as independently, in all levels of the organisation

  • Willingness to be flexible in order to meet deadlines and overcome operational problems and embrace change and drive improvements within the business

  • Able to work 4 on 4 off shift pattern (2days / 2 nights)
