B2 Business Jet (Middle East)

Volantes Technical recruitment is looking to recruit a EASA or GCAA B2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with Line and/or Base Maintenance experience on behalf of our Global Aviation client based in the Middle East. 

Qualifications required:

·        Hold a valid GCAA or EASA Part 66 B2 Aircraft Maintenance License

·        EASA and/or GCAA B1 rating would be an advantage

·        FAA A&P License would be an advantage

·        Type rated and current on at least two following Aircraft Types

·        Embraer Legacy 600/650

·        Bombardier Global (Express/XRS/5000/6000)

·        Bombardier Challenger (604/605/650)

·        Learjet 45 & 60

·        Hawker 900XP

·        Current on HF, FTS & EWIS

·        Driver’s license

Responsibilities include:

·        Certification of aircraft line maintenance and defect rectification

·        Mentor, instruct and supervise junior personnel in their duties

·        Ensure all work is compliant with the clients MOE, published processes and procedures

·        Provide AOG support when necessary

·        Provide customer support and AOG coordination during afterhours when necessary

·        If required assist the commercial department in generating estimates for line and/or base maintenance services when required, giving advice on man hours / parts / services and any likely additional costs 

·        If required assist the CAMO department with maintenance coordination duties

·        Take on other duties within their capacity as delegated from time to time

Personal skills:

·        Fluent in English, other languages desirable

·        Ability to work, carry out maintenance tasks, without supervision

·        Ability to work in a team as well as customer orientation

·        Self-motivated

·        Ability to work under tight deadlines
