Volantes Technical Recruitment are currently seeking a B1/C Licensed engineer with strong turbo prop experience on behalf of our global aviation client.
To be considered for a licenced position you will hold, as a minimum, an EASA Part 66 B1 license with no limitations on airframe or engine that would otherwise restrict the addition of a Group 1 type rating.
Experience with light twin turbo-prop aircraft is preferred. The successful applicant must be prepared to work flexibly as part of a team, not only locally at the customer site, but as an integral part of the programme team and as such must have strong communication, organisation and leadership skills.
/ Main Responsibilities include:
Carry out scheduled Base and Line maintenance activities and provide certification of own work alongside supervision and certification of unlicensed engineers work. In addition to aircraft maintenance activities, engineers working within the project are expected to support specialist mission role equipment.
Respond to AOG situations for project aircraft as required.
Compliance with the Maintenance Organisation Exposition and published processes and procedures.
Ensure that Health and Safety procedures, processes and COSHH are always observed.
EASA B1 Licence; GA turboprop experience
Be computer literate.
A full driving licence is required
Due to the nature of the work, you will be obligated to undergo and pass Security Vetting. As such, this position is restricted to those eligible for a UK Security Clearance.
