B1 Line Engineer – Stansted Hub

Role Summary
To provide and support effective and efficient engineering at STN, that meets the operational requirements in a sustainable and safe manner.
Responsible for ensuring that the relevant line maintenance at STN is carried out on time, in full, and to the required standards. Line maintenance is categorised as, meet and greet support, daily and weekly inspection, flight log and crew reported defects, out of phase and scheduled maintenance.
Engineers will be rostered on a shift system based on 7 on 7 off, day and night shifts, as scheduled by the P145 administration department.
Hours are flexible and subject to change dependent on operational requirements.
Responsibilities
Ensure all work is completed IAW company procedures and the relevant maintenance documentation, technical logs and work orders, are completed and returned to technical records.
Ensure the West Atlantic group are informed of A/C technical status via the group FSR.
Ensure tools and equipment are treated correctly and are stored in the correct locations.
Responsible for ensuring proper handover procedures are completed iaw the MOE.
Ensure company premises and vehicles are maintained and good housekeeping standards are achieved at all times. Report any building/facilities defects to the LMM.
Be well informed about valid instructions, regulations, and maintenance information.
Keep current with the approved working schedules, company procedures, requirements and any authorisation ratings held for the work performed.
Carry out any other such reasonable duties as the company sees fit in accordance with the responsibilities of the position.
Academic/Educational Requirements
Unrestricted UK CAA B1 license – type rating on 737CL and 737NG
Required Skills/Experience:
Minimum 5 years Aviation Engineering experience
Must be Proactive, self-motivated & confident self-starter
Effective interpersonal skills
Possess confident and effective communication skills (both written & verbal)
Ability to make good judgements based on the needs of the company operation, in a very fluid, fast changing environment.
Proven problem solving and Planning & Organizing skills.

Salary of £42,000 plus:
£8,000 shift allowance.
£3,346 B737CL Type rating (unrestricted)
£3,346 B737NG (unrestricted)
£2,038 ATR (if applicable) (unrestricted)
