B1 and/or B2 Licenced Engineer 

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Signature TECHNICAir Mobile Service Teams as a B1 and/or B2 Licensed Engineer

Located in the South of England 

Full time - Permanent

4 on, 4 off shift pattern 

Salary dependant on experience and will be discussed at interview 

Must hold a current EASA Part 66 B1 and/or B2 Licence with a current Embraer ERJ 135/145 (Legacy 650) type rating 

Summary of Role

As a B1 and/or B2 Licenced Engineer on the line you will report to the Line Stations Manager & will be responsible for supervising or performing scheduled or unscheduled maintenance checks/tasks ensuring the most efficient use of manpower and resources to enable the safe completion of maintenance within an agreed time frame whenever possible

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • To carry out maintenance actions/ tasks as detailed by the MSU Manager
  • To Provide Mobile Team/AOG support during assigned scheduled shift
  • To ensure all tasks undertaken are carried out in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and company procedures and are duly certified on completion
  • To certify aircraft maintenance tasks carried out by themselves and by non-certifying engineers
  • Maintain mobile vehicle, interior and exterior appearance
  • To liaise with customers, manufacturers support representatives, regulatory authority representatives and company management and support personnel as required
  • To bring to the MSU Manager attention any potential disciplinary issues and shortfalls in performance of the staff in their charge
  • To ensure the daily shift handover log is completed daily for the A/C in your charge
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a positive customer service attitude without compromising quality
  • To deputise for the MSU Manager in his absence.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • Passionate about providing excellent customer service and being able to demonstrate this at all times with both internal and external customers
  • Minimum of 5 years aircraft maintenance experience along with EASA Part 66 B1 and/or B2 AMEL
  • Must have current Embraer ERJ 135/145 (Legacy 650) type rating, Cessna and Hawker type ratings an advantage
  • Must have full UK Driving Licence
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Excellent organisation skills and able to plan and prioritise effectively
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • A proven ability to cope well under pressure
  • Ability to receive and interpret instructions accurately
  • Proficient with MS Office, including Excel, Outlook and Word
