First People Solutions Limited are recruiting a permanent B1.3 Licensed Engineer to join our clients team of engineers based in the UK.

Candidates must hold an unrestricted B1.3 EASA License.

The successful candidate will ideally possess the Bell 212 type rating, however engineers that don’t possess the type rating but have good experience and knowledge on any of the Bell Helicopters types are also welcome to apply.

As this is a UK MOD site, we are looking for candidates that are UK passport holders. However, consideration will also be paid to non-UK nationals if they have been living and working in the UK for the last 5 years and/ or candidates that currently hold a UK SC clearance.

We are keen to hear from engineers that have the following:

·            EASA Part 66 B1.3 AMEL

·            extensive background as a B1.3 licensed engineer

·            Hold type ratings/ demonstrate extensive experience on older twin-engine helicopters.

·            Bell 212 type rating would be highly desirable.

·            Be able to demonstrate recent experience of working within an aviation maintenance environment

·            Part 145 Initial Human Factors Trained

·            Experience of working within commercial aircraft operators

·            Base maintenance experience

·            Computer literate on Microsoft based systems

·            Familiar with aircraft maintenance control and management systems;

·            Be able to demonstrate good working knowledge of H & S policies and procedures

·            Good understanding of Safety Systems both SMS and H&S

·            Strong safety culture

·            The ability to work alone or as part of or lead a small team

·            Flexibility in regards to work routine

·            Experienced in mentoring of skilled fitters.

·            Strong work ethic

·            Team player
