Volantes Technical Recruitment, on behalf of our UK Based Rotary Operator have Permanent Positions available for Licenced Engineers.

The B1.3/B2 Engineer is responsible for the maintenance (line/base) of the helicopters. He/she works in a team of engineers and reports to the Chief Engineer.

Base Maintenance

  • Comply with the requirements as described in the regulations;

  • Ensure that all maintenance tasks carried out to helicopters meet the standard of the BCAA/EASA and M.O.E. instructions;

  • Ensure, together with all Engineers, a variable & flexible work planning & work roster based on business needs that supports & realizes business continuity;

  • Ensure that all maintenance is completed within the appropriate time scales to ensure provision of serviceable aircraft to meet the operational need;

  • Ensure briefing & debriefing of the Chief Engineer; Report daily on the maintenance situation; Inform and update the Chief Engineer on the maintenance situation;

Experience

  • EASA Part 66 B1.3 or B2 License

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in aviation and as a licensed engineer is preferred

  • Preferably AS365N2 type rating however the client may consider engineers types on other Eurocopter/Airbus Helicopter products.
