Reporting to the Avionics Technical Services Manager, the Avionics Technical Services Engineer is responsible for managing the implementation of all required avionics equipment enhancements to the Jet2.com fleet.
The Avionics Technical Services Engineer will ensure continued airworthiness and technical performance through evaluation of Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, Engineering Modification Requests and Proposals to ensure all actions are carried out to an approved standard. You will manage entry into service aircraft to meet Avionic requirements to schedule, liaise with all engineering departments and act as a focal between Jet2.com and manufacturers, vendors and regulatory bodies. After a period of training, the successful candidate will work 4 days on, 4 days off.
The successful candidate will hold an EASA Part 66 B2 License or equivalent Aircraft Engineering degree. You will ideally have experience of EASA Part M and Jet2.com aircraft types. The Avionics Technical Services Engineer will be able to communicate clearly and work methodically under pressure to regular deadlines. You will also have excellent attention to detail and the ability to work co-operatively and flexibly, whilst maintaining strong working relationships at all business levels
