OnsiteThis position is for a product line Value Stream Leader (VSL) for the Avionics Common Development Environment (ACDE). The individual chosen to fill this role will:
•Develop and own the overall business and technical strategy for additions / changes to the ACDE.
•Roadmap the development and deployment of content, influence the Avionics Engineering Capability Funnels and engage with stakeholders to ensure needs are met.
•Manage day-to-day execution of the development of new features and updates/fixes, in accordance with cost and schedule baselines.
•Work with central functions and Avionics SBU Digital Product Life Cycle (DPLC) Advisor to align digital engineering strategies, roadmaps, and production solutions.
•Support program adoption of ACDE.
A product line VSL leads the Integrated Project Team (IPT) through the life cycle tenets of the Collins Management System (CMS) for their assigned product line; inclusive of pursuit and order capture, design and development, produce to deliver and long-term strategic business plans. Primary responsibilities include spearheading strategic planning for assigned product lines, using price to win and market data to drive design decisions, execution of product developments, and promoting cross-business product synergies to support business unit objectives. The product line VSL directs all phases of product line strategy and development from inception through completion.
This is an onsite role located in Cedar Rapids, IA. Remote may be considered for highly-qualified candidates.

Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of prior relevant experience OR Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience OR In absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience is required .

This role is also eligible for the Re-Empower Program. The Re-Empower Program helps support talented and committed professionals as they rebuild their capabilities, enhance leadership skills, and continue their professional journey. Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
