Dynetics Avionics Products Division is seeking a senior chief engineer with experience in airborne electronics for both manned and unmanned aircraft, experience with missile instrumentation and large DoD airborne electronics programs, and experience in the development of advanced technologies for airborne applications. This position requires a thorough understanding of highly complex airborne electronics. Candidate will work with customers and engineering team to define new product opportunities. The candidate will need the ability to interface with customers at all levels in an organization. Internally the candidate will be required to interface with executive level management on a regular basis.
The successful candidate for this role will be able to guide development of technologies for large DoD programs. The candidate will have a strong understanding of requirements that are typically associated with large DoD development programs. As part of this position, candidate will need to bring technical and process oriented engineering expertise to organize and solve increasingly complex technology challenges. These environments are fast paced and quickly changing due to a variety of influences.
A minimum of a masters degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program. Must have demonstrated experience in a senior engineering role on DoD programs.
Must have a minimum of 10+ years of demonstrated experience with airborne electronics for both manned and unmanned aircraft.
This position will require occasional travel to interface with customers and support program development activities.
Candidate must be a resident of or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, AL area.
