Avionic System Maintenance Technician
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force aircraft and train RSAF personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.

Performs and supervises Aircraft Electrical and Environmental (E & E) functions and activities. Provides on the Job Training (OJT) function including troubleshoots, inspects, removes - installs, repairs, modifies, and operates E & E aircraft systems, components and associated support and test equipment.
The job holder will provide operationally capable aircraft in support of KFAA pilot training programmes through carrying out aircraft: servicing, fault troubleshooting/rectification, modifications, inspections/evaluations of aircraft systems / components within the Electrical Power Generation System, Electrical Sub-Systems, Environmental Control System and Oxygen System at Intermediate level maintenance of PC21 aircraft.
The job holder will interpret / evaluate technical documents and diagrams within the scope of the trade specialty and be able to achieve and maintain Production Inspector Red X (Independent) signatory capability for authorised specific trade certifications.
To provide informal and formal On the Job Training for both RSAF and BAE Systems Saudi National personnel to enable either RSAF or civilian Saudisation of PC21 Intermediate Maintenance operations.
The candidate must be computer literate with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel) and must able to understand and comply with the FOD and Safety program as well as able to acquire user expertise and become conversant with the RSAF aircraft data management and tracking computer systems – AUTO LOG and MIRO Gold.
The job holder must have extensive experience or be graduating from the Royal Saudi Air Force recognised technical training provided by BAE Systems or other recognised civilian organisation.
Ideally be a graduate of a military service, or recognised civilian organisation, aircraft technical training institute.
The job holder will have completed a PC21 Aircraft Systems specific Training courses appropriate to specialties.
Aircraft technical condition and serviceability within expected knowledge and experience of specialty system / systems / components being assessed.
There is a requirement to be able to translate technical findings / evaluations and interpretations into a legible and technically correct document for system performance analysis as well as correctly maintain aircraft and component history and maintenance documentation IAW RSAF procedures and maintain and complete Aircraft specialty trainee training documentation IAW RSAF and BAE Systems procedures.
