AVIATION OPERATIONS PLANNER

and 230,000 aircraft movements annually, we have an excellent opportunity for an Operations Planner to join
our Aviation business.
About the Role The Aviation Planning & Performance team provides operational planning and performance reporting for the
Aviation business. By analysing our airport capacity and developing optimised plans for our assets and
passenger processes, we can extract efficiencies from our airport infrastructure. As the Aviation Operations
Planner you are accountable for analyzing operational performance and plan conformance, and documenting
and improving the underlying planning processes. You will be responsible for maintaining the Airline service
quality forum including preparing all documentation, reviewing airline claims and analyzing trends in service
delivery. Reporting to the Senior Planner, you will be involved in scenario planning and analysis for weekly,
monthly and seasonal planning as well as assisting with the planning of maintenance and project outages. The
position involves considerable internal and external stakeholder liaison and collaboration to analyze the needs
of the operation and respond accordingly.
The Ideal Candidate You will have at least 3+ years experience within the Aviation sector, ideally from an operations background or
as an Aviation Analyst. In addition, you will impress us with your: Strong analytical skills using MS Office, advanced Excel, business reporting and planning software Proven ability to structure reporting and planning services around business and operational needs in a
highly dynamic, fast paced operating environment Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills Proven resource planning skills and experience managing the allocation of operational assets Continuous improvement focus with some experience in process improvement methodologies (e.g.
