This Associate Engineer is for a software engineering professional who supports the design, implementation and verification of embedded software for air management systems. This engineer will play a key role in the development of aerospace systems from customer specification through certification.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Develop real-time embedded software
* Create design models and code implementation
* Create certification plans
* Develop software requirements
* Develop software development process documentation
* Create and execute software requirement tests
* Manage software configuration
* Execute software release process
* Perform software development life-cycle activities (DO178C and DO331)
* Support Stages of Involvement (SOI) reviews
* Integrate Software/Hardware
* Perform structural coverage analysis
* Develop, model and validate software requirements
* Support technical planning and risk management
* Execute software engineering processes

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution with 5+ years experience or
* Master’s Degree with3+ years experience or
* High School Diploma (or Equivalent) and 9+ years experience

Preferred Qualifications:

* Demonstrated experience in embedded software development
* Programming experience with a general-purpose programming language
* Real-time embedded software design and verification experience
* Programming language experience in C or C++
* Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink, Synergy, Clearcase/Clearquest, Labview, and/or DOORS
* Understanding of DO178C, DO331, and/or ARP4754
* Fundamental understanding of laboratory test equipment
* Experience communicating cross functionally, across levels and hierarchy using outstanding oral and written communications
* Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
* Willingness and ability to travel to India as necessary

Education:

* High School Diploma or Equivalent

Preferred Education:

* Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited Institution in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering
* Advanced degree from an Accredited Institution in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering
