Reporting to the ASPAC Business Development and Area Manager, the incumbent will support all activities of the cluster.


Assist in the the implementation of campaigns, as established by the Regional Leadership Team (RLT);

Support the Area Manager in advocacy-related matters;

Participate in building and maintaining proactive approach to relationships with Member airlines and other industry stakeholders, as well as with non-Member airlines;

Provide timely reports to the Area Manager as appropriate, regarding the progress of work and the achievement of set objectives, as requested;

Provide support to meetings and conferences with industry stakeholders,and organise meetings, as appropriate;

Actively support ASPAC Business Development initiatives; and

Any other tasks as assigned by the ASPAC Business Development and Area Manager.

Qualifications and Skills

University degree in Business Administration, Political Science or any other relevant discipline;

Minimum of two years' experience in the aviation industry;

Proven outstanding project management skills, ability to work under pressure on multiple matters with tight deadlines and changing priorities;

Outgoing personality, excellent social skills, ability to influence people in a multi-cultural environment;

Sharp analytical skills, discretion and excellent oral presentation skills; and

Excellent written and spoken English; knowledge of Sinhala, Tamil or Bengali would be an advantage.
