The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with considerable sales, marketing, organisational and managerial skills who is dedicated to attaining growth through commitment.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:-

 

  • Strong Commercial awareness, ability to Utilize data sources and reporting tools to build a view of our account portfolio and their contribution, referring to this when decision-making.
  • Provide accurate forecasting and performance data on a monthly basis for the portfolio of accounts and pending developments in market infrastructure.
  • A good team player, flexible with good interpersonal skills, adapting quickly to new environments and able to work efficiently to deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
  • Responsible for direct and telephone sales, visiting and maintaining our major customers, able to negotiate at Managing Director level and empathise with ground floor staff as well.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills to understand client’s overall business and specifically their logistics goals, and design and customize shipping solutions based on those needs.
  • Able to support and formulate ideas for logistical solutions to freight movement requirement whilst building close working relationships with our customers.
  • Will be able to develop sales leads through prospecting activities, be able to conduct face-to-face meetings and deliver impactful sales presentations and be able to close deals while exceeding established quotas.

 

Minimum Skills and Experience:-

 

  • Sales experience in Cargo industry.
  • Strong Commercial awareness and negotiating skills
  • Appreciation of external and internal influences on industry
  • Strong Levels of Numeracy and analytical ability
  • Good presentation and communication skills
  • Microsoft Word / Excel / Power Point Skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and spoken
