Apply principles of finance and accounting to compile and analyze data and financial information. Prepare reports, analysis and forecasts.
Produce, update and maintain monthly reports for the Simulation business unit, as well as business units outside of Simulation.
Develop and maintain financial models.
Perform variance analysis to determine differences in actual results vs the forecast or budget.
Perform ad hoc analysis upon request.
Gather and compile large amounts of data into clear, concise reports and analyze the results of the reports.
Coordinate project reviews and assumptions with Program Management.
Work closely with various groups throughout Simulation to ensure accurate reporting, forecasting and explanations for variances.
Participate and contribute to the QA function through RIEs and other activities.
Perform financial analysis on potential Simulation projects and/or capital purchases.
Assist in the annual budget process.
Drive continuous improvement of department processes and reports through automation.
Drive continuous improvement and find efficiencies in order to decrease expenses.
Back up Travel Office in emergency situations.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university, preferably in Business, Accounting or Finance; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Microsoft Office -- PowerPoint, Word and Excel (advanced)
Financial analysis and financial modeling
