About The Job

​Responsible for creating and managing internal team member communications as well as supporting email, web, PR and advertising programs.

Specifically, you’ll do the following:

* ​Creates, proofs and sends internal communications

* Creates monthly internal newsletter

* Tracks external and internal coverage and distribute weekly report to stakeholders

* Maintains backgrounder with updated facts and talking points for easy reference for presentations and media

* Manages Cargo Comm general mailbox and answers questions and/or forwards to stakeholders as needed

* Creates and maintains Powerpoint presentations

* Manages Cargo charitable requests

* Works with the data team to request Cargo facts and statistics needed for backgrounder, press releases, presentations, etc.

* Maintains data dashboard for media, PR and emails performance and determines trends for reporting

* Manages basic photography to accompany stories

* Manages basic design of flyers and newsletters

* Must be available to handle urgent requests on short notice in response to media and/or crisis

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Communications or Journalism or equivalent experience/training

* Knowledge of AP Style

* Basic HTML skills

* Ability to write and edit internal communications

* Ability to work to tight deadlines and effectively manage multiple conflicting and frequently changing projects/priorities

* Proven analytical capabilities, problem-solving skills and project management skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with basic design skills for PowerPoint, Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator

* Experience in crisis response
