My client specialises in the development, production, commercialisation and support of a new generation of helicopters. In order to help support these activities, they are looking to recruit Analysis Engineer - Flight Physics. The role is permanent and based in Zurich, Switzerland.

Main responsibilities:

  • Rotorcraft Limit and Operational load computation to comply with TC
  • Execution of sophisticated rotorcraft load prediction tools for predicting aerodynamic loads
  • Assess analysis approaches and results, define any required testing with Flight test team
  • Presentation of simulation results with proficiency
  • Time-effective coordination with other departments (Flight Testing, Stress)

Required qualifications:

  • Hold a university degree in aerospace engineering or equivalent
  • More than 5 years of relevant experience in rotorcraft Flight Physics environment
  • Profound Knowledge of rotorcraft static limit loads and Operational load analysis
  • A working experience with Flight-Lab or any other rotorcraft load prediction tools is desirable
  • Good communication skills and experience in presenting analysis
  • Good English language skills, both verbal and in writing, a working knowledge of German language will be an advantage
  • Good team player skills, self-driven attitude and the ability to work to fixed deadlines

The ideal candidate will be an independent specialist with distinctive analytical skills, who wants to take an active role within a small team of engineers.

 

Additional information:

Working hours - Full time, Monday to Friday

Salary: CHF90000 - CHF110000
