A2B Aero are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working knowledgeable person to join their Airworthiness team as Airworthiness Manager.  As Airworthiness lead you will hold a prominent role with the Company and control many wide-ranging & exciting projects as the Company continues to expand.



Airworthiness Manager

Based from Oxford or Brighton City Airport

0830H to 1700H, Monday to Friday (with out of hours work as required)

Summary of Position  

  • EASA Form 4 responsibility for the day to day management of the Company EASA Part M Approval and Airworthiness Sub Contracted Services (Airworthiness Services Department), Fleet Management and Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition.
  • Manage the continual review and upkeep of the Maintenance Tracking system. Control and provision of Leadership for the Airworthiness department.
  • Day to day control of Management, Aircraft and Regulatory Contracts. Control of the day to day competence of the Airworthiness Department. Promote, prepare, host and resolve audits both internal and external. Maintain the integrity of the department through application and adherence to Quality principles. 


Personal Specification

·       Qualifications and Training

o   You must have previously held an EASA Form 4 or be eligible to hold one (5Y Aviation Experience plus an Engineering Degree or 10Y Aviation Experience)

o   Aviation Type Training or Familiarisation is desirable

·       Experience

o   You must have a minimum of 5 years Technical Records or Airworthiness Experience in an Aviation environment. Including Experience gained through fleet/aircraft maintenance against EASA (or equivalent) Maintenance Programmes.

o   Experience of Airbus Helicopter, Sikorsky, Bell, Safran Helicopter Engines and P&W products. Knowledge of BlueEye software.

·       Qualities and Attitude

o You must be mature, Attention to Detail, Good Communicator, Very Motivated, organised, Proficient in IT. Must thrive under challenging conditions. Great leader.

o   You should have a positive and Focused Attitude to Aircraft Safety and Efficiency. Keen to develop both yourself and the business. Good team manager.

·       Product Knowledge

o   You should have knowledge of Aircraft Engine Systems and their operation. Including specific Rotary Knowledge. Extensive knowledge of EASA Part M. Microsoft Word/Excel.



·       Effective Communicator

·       Extremely Motivated and Driven

·       Able to give instructions clearly and monitor work independently

·       Able to maintain focus for long periods of time

·       Competent Auditor of Records
