My client is a global provider of Regulatory Compliance, Aviation Safety and Security consultancy services.

This permanent Airline Safety Operations Manager's role will be based in Toulouse, France.

Within the Aviation Safety department, the Airline Safety Operations Manager will coordinate and monitor the assistance projects managed by the different project managers.

The objective of these assistance projects is to support Airlines, Maintenance Organisations or Civil Aviation Authorities to improve their safety performance and achieve regulatory compliance with international standards.

 

Main responsibilities :

  • To guide the project managers in the definition of the projects' plan and strategy,
  • To support the successful implementation of the projects,
  • To manage the global customer relationship.

 

They will also directly manage major projects in an international framework, coordinating a team of experts in several domains (Flight operations, Airworthiness, Quality, Safety, etc), monitoring the achievements of the objectives and reporting to the beneficiary's senior management team.

Utilising their knowledge of the Aviation market and stakeholders, the successful candidate will also participate to the commercial and strategic development of the Aviation Safety services, through the identification of the customers' needs, the definition of new services and the development of commercial proposals.

 

Ideal Candidate Profile :

  • Master Degree in aeronautics with a minimum of 10 years working in Airlines within the field of Aviation Safety / Safety Management.
  • Previous experience in management is required as well as a solid knowledge of EASA regulatory framework and ICAO Annexes is required.
  • Experience in Flight Safety, Flight Data Analysis and Flight Operations is beneficial
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills as well as flexibility and adaptability are essential
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English is required.
  • This position requires frequent international business travel.
