Excel Technical Consulting is delighted to offer this new brand new permanent position for Aircraft Technicians to join a client of ours on a permanent basis in the UK. You will be part of a team supporting a busy flying operation in both line/base maintenance activities.

Essential Experience
• Practical Experience aircraft maintenance i.e. Mechanical (Airframe & Propulsion) or Avionics/ Electronics.  

**Please note if you have exposure supporting military platforms this will be advantageous**   

Essential Qualifications 
 • Recognised Aircraft Apprenticeship, City & Guilds Part 3, or NVQ Level 3 or Military Equivalent 
 
Desirable Qualifications
• Bowser driver qualification CAT C, ADR, CPC

• EASA Pt 66 A License.   

• Human Factors 

• EWIS 

• Fuel tank safety.
                                       
Essential Technical Competencies
 
• Basic knowledge of EASA PT 145 and PT M.

• Understanding of working practices and acceptable means of compliance within an Aircraft Maintenance Environment.   

• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.  
 
Essential Non-Technical Competencies
 
• Competent ICT Skills experience (Microsoft, MOE systems e.g RAL, AMOS, Envision).

• Ability to obtain and hold relevant MoD security clearances.    
 
Core Responsibilities/Duties 
• To assist in the ground movement of Aircraft.  

• To carry-out Flight-line operations i.e. Preparation of aircraft for daily flying, dispatch, recovery, turn around, refuelling and post flight servicing.  

• To carry out scheduled maintenance including defect rectification within the line and base maintenance environment. • Working within both the CAA & MAA Regularity requirements.  

Location: Wales

Salary: £28,366 + long list of benefits
