Job Description:

Airbus Helicopters is looking for an A&P mechanic to join our Maintenance & Repair (MAR) team based in Grand Prairie, TX.

Your duties will consists of aiding in and supporting detailed inspection, assembly, installation, repair or replacement of aircraft components and systems, maintenance or refurbishing of aircraft and function check of components.

Your challenges:

  • Learn to perform detailed inspections, assembly, installation, repair, replacement, adjustment, and alignment of parts and components.
  • Aid in operational checks of complete systems to verify proper functioning of components and systems.
  • Support in the performance of troubleshooting to diagnose malfunction or failures on the following aircraft systems: aircraft equipment furnishings, fire protection, fuel system, hydraulics, landing gear, doors, fuselage, stabilizer, rotor systems, power plant and engine controls.
  • Learn how to ensure that completed work follows FAA regulations, customer requirements, and company specifications.

Your boarding pass:

  • Minimum (2) years of aviation maintenance experience. (Experience may be substituted for education normally acquired in the attainment of an A&P certificate)
  • Current FAA A&P license OR the ability to obtain an A&P license within 90 days of hire.
  • Helicopter maintenance experience preferred but NOT required.

Citizenship:

  • US Person under ITAR definition required (U.S. Citizen, green card holder or person covered under our existing ITAR license)
