JOB SUMMARY: The Team Lead works as a part of an integrated team of specific aircraft projects. The integrated team consists of the Director of Maintenance, Manager of Maintenance, Project Manager, and Team Leads. The Team Lead is responsible for creating and maintaining a safe work environment, managing personnel and delivery a quality aircraft/product on time. The Team Lead prioritizes all work to be accomplished during a specific shift and forecasting the next 24 hours. He/She performs work within budgeted time within AerSale, FAA and the customers’ standards or quality. His/her responsibilities include set-up of the oncoming shift in terms of the job assignments that he/she coordinates with the off-going team on his/her specific shift so as to create a smooth transition during shift changes. The Team Lead also helps develop and maintain project budgets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
Administrative Duties
• Monitor and maintain attendance records of assigned crew.
• Audit and approve daily and weekly work records of assigned work group.
• Ensure assigned work groups accountability to conduct themselves within the guidelines of company policies, work rules, and regulatory regulation.
• Monitor performance and complete proficiency appraisals of assigned work group.
• Evaluate vacation requests against scheduling / manpower requirements and respond as needed.
• Promote a culture of safety by monitoring self and others to assure all duties are performed within the guidelines as specified by the AerSale Team Member Safety Manual.
• Manage operations in the most effective manner eliminating waste and improving productivity.
• Provide coaching, counseling, and guidance to assigned work group.
• Maintain and track budgets as set by Supervisor / Project Manager. Communicate problem areas and resolve conflicts and discrepancies.
• Perform any disciplinary actions required within assigned work group in compliance with established guidelines.
• Attend meetings as needed to discuss critical path areas, planned work, critical parts, and overall aircraft status.
• Interact with Supervisor / Project Manager to set and prioritize daily activities and set aircraft delivery schedule.
Job Duties
Prepare all customer and AerSale reports to provide a daily update to the Project Manager of the following items:
• Percentage of routine and non-routine items open and completed.
• Areas that may affect the release date of the aircraft to include parts, engineering, manpower and lengthy elapsed time work orders.
• Monitor all items which are approaching their approved estimates and obtain the appropriate approvals to proceed prior to exceeding the estimate.
• Estimate all Non-routine items identified in order of priority, which require estimates from the production Team Leaders.
• The Team Lead will control, monitor and update the aircraft visibility work boards and/or work booths indicating the work remaining and work in progress.
• Must be completely aware and communicate clearly the progression of all work on the aircraft and how it interfaces with all skills.
• Coordinate with the inspection Department during the primary inspection phase to ensure the plan is followed and during delivery to ensure paperwork accountability.
• Monitor budget daily to ensure the budget is being maintained. Review tallied operations daily for completion, overruns, parts usage daily, and closes items as required.

PROCESS DUTIES
• Perform a daily area inspection to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
• Perform periodic toolbox inspections.
• Monitor confined space compliance.
• Monitor LOTO procedures for compliance.
• Ensure all IPM & FAA regulations are adhered to.
• Participate in aircraft investigations to help find root causes and develop corrective actions.
• Complete accident investigation and follow-up as needed.
• Perform periodic in-process audits of assigned crew.
Technical Duties
• Assign the proper manpower to perform work assignments.
• Ensure that technical training is provided to employees as needed.
• Ensure mechanics are using correct reference data to perform maintenance tasks.
• Ensure all required parts are properly ordered and tracked.
• Provide the Project Manager with accurate data, estimates, and assist with the planning of projects.

QUALIFICATION / REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required. • Must have exceptional written and oral communication skills and be able to interact with a wide variety of people.
• Advanced computer skills (knowledge of MS Office programs, such as Word, Excel) are preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
A&P License, Airframe License or Repairman’s Certificate Required

WORK ENVIRONMENTS
Office hangar and ramp atmosphere. Must be able to work outdoors in the elements.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Must be able to lift fifty (50) lbs. Subject to continual loud noises. Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for prolonged periods of time, climb steps, ladders and/or service stands.
• Visual Acuity must be a minimum of 20/40 corrected.
• Normal or corrected hearing is required.
