We are looking for Quality Source Inspectors for the inspection of aircraft cabin products. This is a long term opportunity to start this September 2019:
The role of the Inspector will be to perform Source Inspection on customer products at its supplier premises. The Inspector will be responsible for performing the following tasks:
- Review of compliance documentation (EASA Form 1, concessions, traceability)
- Final Inspection of aircraft cabin products following control plan check list, previous findings and Airbus
guidelines for :
o Visual Inspection of cabin products regarding cosmetics defects to ensure compliance to set specification and quality standards.
o Control functionality of moving parts (doors, buttons, arm caps …)
o Check correct installation and test procedures of Systems (IFE, electrics, water, Ventilation)
o Check presence and content of a lose item kit if required
o Check conformity of all products to their definition
o Review supplier ATP, CofC, FAI reports and other documentation to ensure compliance
- Produce the relevant documentation:
o Source Inspection Report, including findings validated during wash-up meeting with the Supplier Quality representative and possible buy back if rework is done.
o Completion of the Inspection Reports and documentation in accordance to Customer specifications (Cover sheet, Si Report, Summary Report Sheet)
- Propose improvement through feedback loops to all process users
