Are you an experienced Aircraft Painter looking to work in Malta?

 

We have an exciting permanent opportunity for Aircraft Painters to join our client based in Malta.

 

About the role

This is a permanent opportunity based in Malta working for a world’s leading MRO Organisation.

 

You will be forming a part of the paint shop within the organisation carrying out paint repairs on aircraft external and internal components which will include preparation of parts, working area, sanding, paint removal and final applications.

 

Responsibilities

·         To read, understand and work in accordance with the applicable and approved maintenance data such as but not limited to SRM, AMM, IPC, applicable drawings, Engineering Orders, Jobcards, etc.

·         To check all jobcards, before aircraft is released to service

·         To repair and repaint aircraft and aircraft components

·         To assist with aircraft full repaint events such as but not limited to (paint events taking place in aviation cosmetics)

·         To maintain tools, equipment and workplace in a serviceable condition and checks for completeness after each maintenance work according company standards

·         To use IT systems to perform tasks such as look for approved maintenance data, clock on jobcards, etc.

·         To support the section team leader and/or Support Shop Manager Paint and Cabin

·         To check the quality of the finished article to ensure regulatory, company and customers’ standards are met

 

Requirements

·         Experience in aircraft painting procedures or similar industry

·         Qualification course MCAST Diploma in Automotive Repair (Body and Paint) or equivalent

·         Excellent attention to detail and high quality work

·         Good communication skills

·         Be able to work shifts including nights and weekends

·         Right to work in the EU
