That is why HAECO Global Engine Support provides global round-the-clock on-wing and off-wing engine support from its strategic locations in Hong Kong, Amsterdam in the Netherlands, London in the U.K. and Dallas in the U.S.

HAECO Global Engine Support are seeking On-Wing Engine Mechanics to join their On-Wing Support team based at London Heathrow Airport. The role will require successful candidates to perform engine maintenance on a wide range of products and to travel to customer bases across the world, often at short notice.

What you’ll do:

• Perform maintenance and inspections tasks on large commercial engines, at customer bases and within our London service centre.
• Act in accordance with regulatory, legislative and company procedures.
• Interact with customers on a daily basis and manage their expectations in a professional, timely manner.
• Provide flexibility to support business requirements, this includes changing start/finish times and travelling globally.
• Perform supplementary shop and housekeeping duties as required.

What you need to have: 

• A minimum of 5 years civil aircraft or aircraft engine/component maintenance experience.
• An in-depth understanding of Part 145 regulations and requirements for Form 1 Authorised Release Certificates.
• The ability to liaise with customers and manage their expectations in a professional manner.
• The ability to carry out inspections and maintenance activities on large commercial aero engines and ideally have experience working on Rolls-Royce Trent engine types.
• Completed a Level 3 apprenticeship scheme and hold an aeronautical or technical school diploma.
• A checkable 5 year history and pass a criminal record check to gain airside and other security passes.
• Excellent IT skills and be fluent in written and spoken in English.
• Desire to learn and grow with advances in technology
• Strong problem solving skills and be a good team player.
• A valid UK driving licence.
