FEAM is currently seeking to connect with eligible Skillbridge/8610-2 Aircraft Mechanics to prepare them for future opportunities as Mechanics across several of our locations throughout the United States.  We pride ourselves on consistently exceeding our customers’ expectations and creating lifelong relationships with our clientele. A Skillbridge/8610-2 candidate is responsible to progress in his/her aviation maintenance training at CVG to ensure a successful transition to the field upon completion of their training.  


Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be within 180 days or less left in the military to begin program. (Please check with your local Skillbridge advisor for your branch of service requirements.) 
  • Command Approval
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Signed 8610-2 by inspector or DME. (If applicable)
  • Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. 
  • Ability to frequently stand, walk, continually utilize hand, and finger dexterity, climb, balance, bend, or crawl, occasionally from heights in precarious places. 
  • Ability to frequently lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds. Have the awareness that he/she will be working near and around moving mechanical parts, around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals, and exposed to loud noises. 
  • Utilize visual acuity to operate equipment and read technical information. 
  • Be exposed to weather conditions outside as well as non-weather conditions such as extreme heat or cold. 
  • Must be able to read and write English. 
  • Must pass airport security background checks and travel for work as required.
  • Must be willing to work flexible shifts to include nights and weekends to meet customer demand.
  • Participates in on-the-job training with onsite personnel.
  • Uses all mandated safety equipment and complies with all safety requirements in accordance with company and government regulations and guidelines.
  • Completes all checklists, forms and reports as required in accordance with the company, government and FAA regulations and guidelines.
