The following role has become available at our Luton base;


Mechanic – Permanent, 42 hours per week

Reference:  LTN_ENG_MECH



Reporting to the Base Manager, the role of Mechanic will be responsible for conducting and maintaining high standards of aircraft maintenance. This includes ensuring that work is carried out in a safe and correct manner and to Company Procedures. This is a hands on role which will require the successful candidate to actively take part in all aspects of aircraft maintenance. They may also be required at times to assist with covering maintenance activities in out-of-hours circumstances.


Experience of working as a mechanic within the aviation industry is essential with Bombardier Corporate experience would be a distinct advantage especially on any of the following aircraft types Challenger 604/605, 300/350, Global Express series aircraft. Experience in sheet metal work would also be beneficial, as would an A license, but these are not essential.


The role will primarily be based at Luton (however you may at times be required to travel to Stansted and Farnborough when required).




This role is demanding and the successful candidate should be a self-motivated and dedicated individual with a professional approach and a focus on providing customer service of the highest standard. Excellent communication skills are needed with a conscientious, flexible approach and a smart appearance.


The ability to prioritise in an ever changing environment, remain calm and adapt under pressure are essential for the role. Excellent communication skills combined with courtesy and integrity are also important. Good administration skills and computer literacy – particularly in Word and Excel. 


Additionally, the individual must have held a Full UK Driving License (held for a minimum of six months) and have a 5 year checkable historyin order to obtain an airport ID pass.
