HRGO are recruiting for Aircraft De-Icers working at the ever-expanding Luton Airport. As an Aircraft De-icer you'll be responsible for ensuring that aircraft and vehicles are de-iced and in condition to operate as normal through winter. You'll be required to work outdoors at a height of up to 40ft above the ground inside the heated cab. You'll be also trained to drive vehicles and operate various de-icing equipment.
After a successful probation period you will have the opportunity to be stay on as an Airside support operative during the Summer season (April to October) and then return as a De-icer for the following winter months.
£9 per hour (Increase to £10.50 per hour after 12 weeks) + an end of season de-icing bonus.
Minimum 25 hours per week with Overtime available. Mixture of morning shifts, starting from 4:30am and late shifts, starting from 1:30pm. Individual shifts lasting for a maximum of 12 hours.
