Dynetics, an employee-owned company, is seeking talented Aerospace Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
Inidividual will be part of a team Aerospace team focued on creating unique solutions for complex missile system Modeling & Simulation problems.
Position involves detailed modeling & simulation (M&S) and analysis of aerospace systems, primarily missile weapon systems (tactical to strategic, foreign and domestic), based on a solid grasp of engineering principles. A heavy emphasis is placed on the following technical disciplines: dynamics, guidance navigation and control (GNC), flight mechanics, aerodynamics & propulsion, and programming (multiple languages).
Candidate will provide leadership/mentorship and technical direction to a highly technical team of multi-disciplined engineers providing accurate and timely analysis of aerospace system performance and capability. Candidate will interact directly with customers and Company management to address a wide array of technical issues.
Position requires either a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering (or similar discipline) and 7-10 years of experience, or a Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering (or similar discipline) and 5-8 years of experience.
Position requires experience in aerospace systems analysis (modeling & simulation, dynamics, GNC, systems engineering, or numerical methods preferred), and exposure to leadership/mentorship.
Candidate will have some programming experience in Matlab/Simulink, Python, or C++.
The successful applicant must demonstrate excellent communication skills and a history of successful work in a collaborative team environments.
Candidate must be a resident of or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, AL area.
Experience in project & personnel management is preferred.
Applicants with an active Final Top Secret Clearance are highly desirable.
Master's degree in aerospace engineering (or similar discipline) is preferred.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (as well as maintain) a Final Secret Clearance.
