Summary of Role:
The primary function of this position is to co-ordinate work packages and Quality Control Inspection activities on a substantial aircraft military modification program.
The primary responsibility is to ensure that the Electrical Systems modifications, conform to the requirements of supplied design data and Regulatory Authorities, together with over signing first signatory operations.
The job holder will advise maintenance / modification personnel regarding the standards of workmanship required to achieve a satisfactory product, maintain relevant data packs, co-ordinate and monitor product release related documentation.
The job holder will have to gain thorough knowledge of all regulatory and company inspection instructions, procedures / processes, standards and measuring equipment specifications.
Evaluate and report on discrepancies in design data, planning information and aircraft build.
The preferred candidate will have attained a recognized apprenticeship / City & Guilds Certificate / NVQ Level 3 with experience in the aerospace maintenance and / or manufacturing industry.
Knowledge of EASA Pt 145 / 21G regulations and operations.
Previous inspection experience
Eligible for or Holder of current SC security clearance (RSL will sponsor as required).
