Job Title: 145 Production Operator
Location: Camberley, Surrey
Salary: £20,000- £25,000 per annum

Aeropeople are currently recruiting a 145 Production Operator on behalf of our client, a market leader in the design, manufacture and certification of aerospace equipment and systems, to join their successful team in Camberley, Surrey.
Established more than 120 years ago, the company trades in 16 countries worldwide and employs around 35,000 people, doubling in the last 8 years. The company focuses on high end products utilised on board commercial, regional and business aircraft and supports its airline customers throughout the product’s life cycle.
Reporting to the General Manager- 145, the purpose of this role is to repair and refurbish aircraft interior products in accordance with company documentation and procedures.
Repair components to engineering drawings or in accordance with agreed company documentation.
To complete all relevant documentation to demonstrate that repair, testing and inspection are to the appropriate quality standards
Self- certify all work and complete orders in accordance with system requirements
Working with minimum of supervision using own initiative
To cross train where appropriate for full flexibility
Report and help solve any manufacturing problem that may occur
Actively participate and contribute to continuous improvement
Willingness to participate in improvement activity across the business
Must be prepared to undertake activities required out of the factory and when necessary outside the normal working hours
Must also be prepared to travel, and be present on working parties as needed
Must embrace change and be willing to adopt new skills to support all areas of the business

Salary up to £25,000 dependent on experience

Skills and Qualifications:
Time served as an engineering apprentice.
Previous or similar product knowledge.
Good level of Maths and English.
The ability to use all types of air tools, hand tools, and precision measuring equipment associated with this work.
Must possess a positive can- do attitude
Must have the ability to work without supervision in a multi- functional team
Must be prepared to undertake all reasonable requests as determined by the business needs
Must implement and maintain a safe environment for employees and immediately raise Health & Safety concerns to management in compliance with the company Health & Safety procedure
Must be prepared to participate in business improvement initiatives when scheduled
Expected to ensure the working department is clean and presentable at all times
