Role Summary:
This role will have responsibility for driving process improvements in the areas or TIG, spot, and laser welding.

Essential Responsibilities:
* Lead continuous improvement projects related to the various welding methods used at the Lynn facility.

* Develop process training programs and work instructions for equipment operators.

* Presents to senior business leaders and other key stakeholders.

* Connects the dots across technologies and develop cross-technology solutions; works on cross-functional projects/teams to deliver technology solutions for the business.

Qualifications/Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.

* Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in welding

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS :
This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment

Desired Characteristics:

* Experience with TIG, spot, and/or laser welding.

* Lean / Six Sigma experience

* Strong oral and written communication skills.

* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

* Ability to influence others and lead small teams.

* Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.

* Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.

* Effective problem identification and solution skills.

* Proven analytical and organizational ability.
