Delex Systems is seeking a part time War Gaming Analyst. Primary Duties and Responsibilities This is a part time position (~ 1000 hours / year)for a senior level analyst to support the Office of Naval Intelligencedetachment, Newport, Rhode Island during meetings, workshops, planning conferences review sessions and testing and rehearsals during the conceptualization, design, development and testing phases for an average offour war games per year. The qualified individual will serve as anintelligence analyst/adversary team war gaming expert and perform various duties as assigned war game execution to include player, facilitator,assessor/adjudicator, or member of control cell. The analyst must stay abreast of current and projected military strategies,doctrine, capabilities and tactics for designated foreign military forces andexamine the diplomatic, information, military and economic elements ofadversary national power incorporate current and potential future adversarycapabilities and tactics, techniques and procedures into war games, andanalytic projects. Required Skills and Capabilities: * Experience and expertise in the research and analysis for the design, planning, and execution of war games, exercises, and analytic projects supporting the department of Defense and / or the intelligence community. * Ten years related experience without a degree, five years related experience with a bachelor’s degree, OR two years related experience with a masters Degree in national security studies, intelligence studies, or a related field. * Demonstrated knowledge of DoD operations and IC organizations gained through at least two years experience while assigned to a DoD command or staff element and/or to an IC organization. Education and Experience Requirements Desired qualifications: * At least one year of experience mentoring and training junior action officers in war gaming design, development and execution. * Demonstrated knowledge of the joint operation planning process/Navy planning process gained through at least one year experience while assigned to a DoD planning staff OR completion of joint professional education phase 1 or a DoD operational planning course. * Possess facilitation and briefing experience and skills demonstrated through previous experience as a moderator for conferences and meetings and in briefing senior audiences at DoD and/or IC organizations. * At least one year of experience with research tools and capabilities resident on JWICS, SIPRNET and NIPRNET. * Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications as demonstrated through previous experience in creating draft and final reports, spreadsheets, and presentations for DoD and;/or IC organizations.
