Description

Develop, maintain, and conduct all crew scheduling training curriculums.  Curriculum to include new-hire, recurrent, Supervisor recurrent, PIP training and all other training programs related to Crew Scheduling, and/or assigned by Crew Scheduling Managers.  Work closely with the Manager(s) Crew Scheduling to track and coordinate training curriculums that facilitate a growing department as well as operational demand.  Research any grievance information the manager may need for hearings. When on the OCC floor, provide leadership and training assistance to all crew schedulers as needed.  When needed, assist in the present operation, and irregular operations.  Available for all other tasks assigned by the Manager(s) Crew Scheduling, that promotes an efficient day-to-day operation.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain crew scheduling training curriculum
Contractual Expert:  Able to understand, apply and teach the contract for both pilots and flight attendants
FAR Expert: Able to understand, apply and teach applicable FAR’s
Systems Expert: Sabre CrewTrac and FliteTrac
Teacher/Trainer:  Answer any questions the crew schedulers have regarding their duties, shift assignments, IROP responsibilities or general questions
Provide leadership, assistance, operational guidance to crew schedulers when needed
Crew efficiency and productivity
Must be able to read, interpret, apply, and teach contractual language pertaining to the daily operation.
Should be able to think “outside” the box to achieve operational objectives. 
Able to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously.  Be detailed oriented and possess sound judgment.

Basic Requirements

Microsoft software knowledge
Sabre CrewTrac and FliteTrac expert
FAR expert
Contractual language expert
Good work ethic


Education

High School diploma
Bachelor’s degree in business, aviation, or education preferred
5 yrs or more in Aviation required
1 yr or more in a scheduling environment required
1 yr or more call center experience preferred
