Responsible for ensuring AAIP, MEL, MOM and GOM are updated and current to reflect business needs and manufacturer’s maintenance instructions. Also ensures revisions are updated on SharePoint to ensure AEL technicians have all appropriate data.

Duties and Responsibilities

DUTIES

Monitor changes to manufacturer’s technical data

* Receive technical data updates from OEM’s and analyze risk of implementation

* Incorporate updates in appropriate manual once risk is mitigated

* Ensure most current manuals are available to technicians on SharePoint and obsolete data is removed

* Organize SharePoint data for ease/efficiency/intuitive use

Monitors Airworthiness Directives (AD’s) and Service Bulletins (SB’s)

* Reads, understands and interprets FAA Airworthiness Directives

* Reads, understands and interprets Manufacturer’s Service Bulletins

* Ensures AD’s and SB’s are executed and incorporated into appropriate manuals if applicable

* Ensures new AD’s and SB’s are incorporated in Maintenance Tracking Program

Interdepartmental coordination

* Works with Aviation Project Manager to ensure all new projects are incorporated in company manuals

* Works with Purchasing and Inventory Managers to ensure parts required by AD’s, SB’s, or ICA changes are available prior to release

* Works with Training Instructor to ensure training materials are updated prior to release of changes

* Works with ADOM, RDOM’s, and RMM’s to ensure appropriate scheduling and skillset is coordinated prior to release or changes

* Releases MIL’s and MAB’s to ensure all company employees are aware of changes

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

* High school diploma or equivalent

Skills:

* Current A&P certificate or equivalent

* IA. “Inspectors Authorization” Preferred

* Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint

* Current State Driver’s license

Experience:

* Knowledge of AAIP, MEL, MOM, GOM

* Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) knowledge
