Job Summary: The Techanical Analyst must have a strong commitment to safety and compliance values. Responsibilities include a variety of analytical, administrative, and technical functions on time control compliance for Time Limited Repairs. Job duties will include the accurate and complete set-up validation of all Monitor (MON) log pages, forecast number tracking and compliance system updates for airframe and component Time Limited Repairs. Ensuring accurate time control setup is achieved on all time limited repairs in accordance with the appropriate source document (ER/A, SRM, AMM, etc.). Accurate and timely setup/conversion of all MON log pages, including DFRD & CORR log page corrections, parts information, forecast number key word descriptions, time control intervals and all other information needed for execution and compliance by maintenance. Manages a work queue of assigned aircraft in the TANS alert messaging system to validate, update and coordinate log page activity and related forecast number time controls in support of MON/QC log page execution of Time Limited Repairs for aircraft, engines and components. Works closely with peers in Compliance System Records (CSR) and other departments to ensure MON log time control compliance; specifically Line Maintenance, Base Maintenance, Maintenance Control, Maintenance Planning, Material Planning, Quality Control, Engineering, Production Control and Supplier Operations. Practices safety conscious behaviors in all departmental processes and procedures.
Valid A&P certificate required. Must have working knowledge of SCEPTRE related to aircraft log page activity, the aircraft perfect assembly and inspection forecast numbers. Five years recent line or hangar aircraft maintenance experience preferred. Must be able to demonstrate the use of OEM technical manuals and source documents (SRM, IPC, AMM, Service Bulletins). Must have technical knowledge of aircraft, systems, structures and major assembly configurations, and be able to interpret engineering documents for content, effectivity and time control limitations. A thorough understanding of Delta's TOPP policies and procedures around time control compliance standards is highly preferred. Should be a self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to handle several projects simultaneously with minimum supervision and able to prioritize work to meet established deadlines. College degree is desired. Strong computer experience with MS Office products (MS Office Suite Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and Delta applications (TOPS, Brio) preferred. Good interpersonal skills with a customer-focused attitude is a highly regarded. .
