About The Job

This job is a member of the Finance Team within the Finance Division. This position will be responsible for providing oversight to a team supporting the Travel Agency Audit. Additionally, monitors and facilitates processes and procedures to enable a productive daily workflow, handle escalated situations and be the first to respond to team members technical questions.

Specifically, you’ll do the following:

* Determines and takes appropriate action on audit and dispute resolution situations

* Communicates expectations, assignments and responsibilities clearly and professionally

* Oversees, coaches and provides monthly/quarterly evaluations to a team of 15-30 Specialists

* Conducts daily, weekly or monthly briefings as needed to inform the team of new or revised policies or procedures

* Ongoing communication with team members to keep them informed and engaged

* Continuous review of processes and procedures to create opportunities to increase efficiencies and automation

* Identifies and evaluates internal and external issues and individuals in need of attention and or training and follow through to completion

* Suggests and organizes team building activities


Required Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related business field or equivalent experience/training

* Previous effective leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous airline, travel agency and/or auditing experience

* Competency with the Microsoft Office programs, knowledge of Sabre, ARC Memo Manager and COMPASS/DRS, BSPLink, ATARI and Sabre electronic ticketing and PNR data

* Familiar with passenger ticketing, fare rules, pricing, reporting and ticket processing

* In depth knowledge of performance metrics

* Proven record of boosting team performance

* Self-directed, multi-tasker with logical, analytical, organizational and innovational skills

* Strong ability and desire to motivate individuals to achieve goals

* Ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels in the company

* Proficient with Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
