Boeing Defense, Space & Security is seeking entry level (Level 1) Systems Engineer. This is for a Reliability, Maintainability & Availability (RM&A) position in the BDS SEIT Capability, supporting the Specialty Engineering team on Huntsville programs (Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD)).
As a member of this team, you will be responsible for a variety of RM&A engineering and support tasks including reliability requirements analysis/assessment, reliability modeling and predictions, failure evaluations & analysis, and obsolescence management.
Additional roles and responsibilities of the position may include, but are not limited to:
•Preparation of routine program obsolescence, availability, and reliability reports for delivery to the customer
•Track and report on changes to the program obsolescence priority list
•Monitor and track changes to parts DMS status
•Review, assess and close failure reports in accordance with program schedules and need dates
•Collaborate with engineering teams on RM&A activities and communicate with program leaders, including program leads, chief engineers, and management
Key interfaces on this team include program SEITs and IPTs, program management, and customer technical representatives

Basic Qualifications (Required):
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, for which the US Government requires US Citizenship
Previous academic or work experience in the reliability, maintainability and availability field desired.
Previous experience with RM&A tools, such as Windchill or CARTS, is highly desired.
Ability to effectively communicate with engineers, management, and non-engineering support staff.
Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
