Chipton-Ross is seeking 5 Systems Engineers 5 located in El Segundo, CA
Senior Systems Engineer (Level 5) for the Mission Framework and Analytics (MF/A) Spacecraft Control Element (SCE) organization, supporting proprietary ground system development programs. The position is located in El Segundo, California with some support at the Seal Beach, California location.
Tasking includes full life-cycle development, integration and test. Provides a system engineering approach to lead activities to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. Leads others to evaluate customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.
o Define, schedule, and assign tasks, and monitor completion to validate system-of-systems concepts, system concepts and subsystem concepts by inspection, analysis, test, and demonstration to assure that the system architecture and design concepts satisfy the intent of the customer requirements.
o Coach, mentor, and train others.
o Lead or consult on defining, scheduling, and assigning tasks, and monitoring completion to lead the monitoring of integration and checkout activities, receiving and evaluating of results of activities.
o Lead or consult on managing, monitoring, and reporting the progress and status of integration, checkout, and verification activities and anomaly resolutions by directing and reviewing these activities to assure integration validity and to enable meeting the program schedule.
o Lead the above for highly complex or broad scope programs.

o Technical leadership experience in ground and software system systems engineering (requirements, design, and operation).
o Experience producing technical communication, both written and verbal.
o Familiarity with integrated systems for space mission management and command & control.
o Familiarity with Government programs & processes.
o Excellence in producing technical communication (written/verbal).
Accredited Bachelor's degree with 14 or more years' experience, Master's degree with 12 or more years' experience or PhD with 9 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
8 AM - 5 PM
