Delex Systems, Inc. is actively seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to support current and future needs in Ridgecrest, CA. This position supports the following technologies: Windows in an enterprise network environment. Primary Duties and Responsibilities The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities: * Provide systems administration (operations and maintenance) of Windows based servers and networks within an enhanced security environment. * Provide accurate system documentation to include, but not limited to: Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Privileged User Guides (PUG) * Assist with routine system audits and reviews, testing of Information Security (IS) policies/plans/procedures. * Conduct hardware and software maintenance on multiple networks / systems. * Monitor IT environment to proactively prevent problems. * Provide technical support to various customer remote sites. * Provide Tier 3 level support of elevated trouble tickets. * Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned. Education and Experience Requirements Minimum Requirements: * Must have a current TS/SSBI (Applicants selected must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Accordingly, US citizenship is required.) * Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent years of experience in combination of education, technical certifications/training and work experience. * Security +, CISSP or other DOD 8570 compliant certifications * 3+ years of directly related experience in a network/system administration related support role. * Experience hardening/securing desktop and server operating systems. * Experience with various virtualization technology. * Familiarity with DCID 6/3 or JAFAN 6/3 desired. Desired: * 3+ years of directly related experience with Unix/Linux and Windows based operating systems. * Working knowledge of the Unix/Linux command line environment. * Familiarity of NIST 800-53 controls * Familiarity of Risk Management Framework (RMF) Security Clearance This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active Top Secret security clearance based on a current SSBI.
