The Boeing Company is seeking a Level 2 Supply Chain Specialist
Supply Chain position supporting the Order Launch team within SCM Order and Delivery Management. Responsible for reviewing and loading incoming orders for Transactional Spares and Performance Based Logistics contracts.
Receives orders from Contacts, performs validation tasks, determines sourcing and releases to Procurement or Manufacturing for execution. Serves as Planner for interface with Supplier Management.
Receives requests for order modification and works with Contracts on approval / execution. Troubleshoots issues with order execution relating to part obsolescence, minimum order quantities and export compliance.
Responsible for identifying opportunities for process improvement. In addition to displaying technical expertise, the position is responsible for managing a high volume workload, meeting target cycle time metrics and ensuring order quality.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Bachelor's degree and typically 3 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Bachelors' degree required in relevant field. Accepted majors are Supply Chain Management, General Business,
Engineering / Science / Technology / General Aviation.
The desired candidate will have knowledge of Supply Chain Management best practices, strong data analysis capabilities, and a customer focus for delivering quality products on time while ensuring internal business goals are met.
