Air Management Systems Supply Chain is seeking a goal-oriented and energetic Co-Op student to support Delivery Assurance activities. This role offers the selected candidate an opportunity to support improvements in on time delivery by managing the delivery performance and recovery of several underperforming suppliers in addition to working process improvements that will enhance the performance of the larger teem. This provides the selected candidate the opportunity to gain valuable experience in supplier relationship management, operations planning, and material logistics. It is an ideal learning experience for a co-op candidate interested in learning more about supply chain management in a practical setting. The selected candidate will be responsible for supplier delivery performance for a selected group of suppliers and will be responsible to drive regular supplier interaction with any underperforming suppliers. The selected candidate must ensure compliance with all aspects of the UTAS Procurement Manual, UTC Code of Ethics, International Trade Compliance, & Transition Standard Work (TSW). The selected candidate will also be responsible for supporting improvements in our business processes through training and utilization of the UTC ACE operating system.
Qualification: The ideal candidate would have strong project management skills, a demonstrated track record of leadership, and a genuine interest in a career in supply chain management. Candidate would have strong interpersonal skills, and where necessary build relationships with the supply base; while ensuring the appropriate level of assertiveness is applied when needed.
Education: Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Business, Engineering or a related discipline.
