Role Summary:
The Supply Chain Integration Leader demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In the role of Supply Chain Integration Leader, you will utilize your experience and expertise to solve problems, develop project plans, drive execution, and positively impact the delivery, cost and cash goals of our business.

Essential Responsibilities:

Additionally, as the Supply Chain Integration Leader, key responsibilities will include:

* Partner closely with the Plant Leader and Engineering / MSO Leadership to set strategy and priorities

* Own the Military cost out project deck for the site

* Eliminate tactical barriers and promote project execution within the shop

* Leverage the broader Engineering Team to drive shop metrics

* Establish and lead cost-out operating rhythms for the site

* Act as the primary interface for cost reviews with MSO, Engineering, Supply Chain, and the Mission Based Cost Team

* Own critical cost-out projects, inventory reduction, and cycle time reduction projects, and perform tactical execution as required

* Organize AWOs to bolster project pipeline

* Assume team leader responsibilities for other MPPE Engineers-in-the-Shop that are located on site

* Embrace, develop and implement digital tools

* Evaluate data to identify loss reduction projects and process capability improvement opportunities

* Establish Military hardware inventory entitlement levels and burndown plan

* Champion Aged WIP reduction efforts

* Generate multi-year cost curves and partner with GRC and Aviation Lean Labs to develop technology realization plans

* Support MSO strategic cost initiatives

* Advocate and coordinate funding as needed

Qualifications/Requirements:

* Bachelor's of Science in a discipline related to Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Business, Operations from an accredited college or university

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering position

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT :

* This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment

Desired Characteristics:

* Master’s Degree / MBA in a discipline related to Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Business, Operations from an accredited college or university

* Strong oral and written communication skills

* Executive level presentation skills

* Ability to lead and influence up, down, and across a matrixed environment

* Strong technical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems

* Hardware ownership experience

* Technical design or manufacturing experience with turbine airfoils

The GE Aviation plant in Madisonville, Kentucky, is a Turbine Airfoils plant that supports GE Aviation by manufacturing high pressure turbine airfoils (blades and vanes). This facility was established in 1971 by Ballast and converted to Aircraft Engines in late 1979, early 1980. The Madisonville Plant's workforce consists of 500+ employees.
