The Quality Learning Engineering Advanced Development (Q-LEAD) Rotational Program at UTC Aerospace Systems is seeking motivated team members wanting to start and expand their knowledge and capabilities for an exciting career development program. The Quality Rotational Program is looking for internal and external candidates for the upcoming cohort beginning in summer 2018.
The purpose of the program is to improve the capability of our quality engineering workforce by providing them with the unique experience to rotate into new and exciting quality career assignments at various UTAS business across the US. Q-Lead is a two year program consisting of three 8-month rotational assignments across a variety of quality disciplines at various UTAS business units. Through hands-on coaching and mentoring the participants will learn and develop technical skills in the quality areas they explore.
The program offers valuable experience in quality engineering specialties such as Operations Quality, Quality Clinic, Supplier Quality, QMS Compliance / Regulatory Quality, ACE/Continuous Improvement, and Customer/Program Quality.
The goals and benefits of the Q-Lead program are to:
-Gain a global understanding of UTAS quality management
-Develop and enhance existing quality engineering skills
-Enhance knowledge and relationships throughout the organization
