The Boeing Company is now hiring Entry Level Structural Designers on Boeing Strike, Surveillance and Mobility programs in the Saint Louis area. This includes opportunities on the best tactical aircraft in the world, including the F-15 Eagle and F/A-18 Super Hornet.
Individuals performing this work assists with documentation of structural and interior payload system requirements to establish the system design. Those in this role also assists with development, maintenance and modification of payload system and component designs, using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools and/or other design methods, to provide product definition to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers and external customers throughout the product lifecycle. Assists with tests to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications. Assists with management of supplier development, test and production activities to optimize the design and achieve program goals.

Basic Qualifications (Required):
Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Engineering discipline
* The candidate should be able to apply knowledge of engineering and scientific methods and tools to define and characterize behavior of products, services, and processes.
* Short term travel may be required
* Ability to develop and interpret drawings, data sets, reports, and specifications
Typical Education / Experience:
Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
