About the Role:
Reporting and Analytics: Serves as the architect for supply chain reporting and analytics. Acts as a subject matter expert for supply chain data sources including SAP. Acts as a creative problem solver and meets with stakeholders across the department to identify and provide analytical tools to improve sourcing process as well as working closely with suppliers to find scalable solutions to issues impeding their performance or value.
Responsibilities also include managing the distribution of weekly leadership and operational reports, and developing and enhancing the reports to meet the changing business needs. Is expected to deliver executive-level presentations and communications to provide clear objectives and recommendations to senior management and outline and execute action plans. Represents Delta professionally in all forms of communication, meetings, and business reviews.
Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
Develops both strategic & tactical plans that create a safety-conscious environment resulting in employee safety & well-being.
Job Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Analysis, Finance, Operations or Strategic Management required; MBA in a similar emphasis preferred. Three plus years or more experience in finance, business planning, sourcing, and/or analysis with a strong technical background is required. Must have demonstrated leadership skills such as the ability to manage projects and work in cross-functional teams. Must have demonstrated a high degree of initiative and drive and have a proven track record of integrity and professional maturity. Experience in SAS/Hyperion/Brio is required. Experience with SAP and process improvement is preferred. Knowledge of Delta and airline industry processes preferred. Must be performing satisfactorily in current position.
