Get onboard the UTC Aerospace Operations and Supply Chain team and play a part in managing our innovative products from inception to delivery. Perform a Project Engineering role for Central Operations Test Engineering (COTE) products & services in support of electronics development programs. Central Operations Test Engineering provides support to a variety of products including analog and digital PWBs, electronic controllers, power conversion and power distribution equipment used in aircraft electrical power generating systems. Responsibilities include primary interface to Integrated Product Development (IPD) teams for purposes of defining comprehensive plans related to development and production test equipment and production test requirements. The Project Engineer works with Business Unit customers and Central Operations Test Engineering Functional Management to develop a Test Equipment Plan (TEP) that defines the test equipment resource(s), hours and material required to support product development, qualification, and production phases of the program. This individual will be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed schedules, defining and tracking budgets for all associated tasks, including support of Earned Value Management systems (EVMS). Will coordinate/manage in-house staff as well as external suppliers to design and develop tests, and test equipment.
Qualification: Minimum Qualifications:
* 2+ years of Project Management experience
* MS Office experience– Word(creating, updating, and formatting documents), Excel(creating, updating spreadsheets, pivot tables, vlookup), Project(create plans, monitor progress, analyze workloads, and designate resources)
* PMP a plus
* SAP enterprise system experience
* Experience using Microsoft Visio and Powerpoint

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 5 years of Test Engineering
OR a Master’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical or Business with 3 years of Test Engineering
